Steppingstones, balance beams, beanbags, and a soft tunnel climber are just some of the things we use to move our body and challenge our minds. Winning a grant competition in 2024, Discovery Daycare has completely revamped their playgrounds (we have two!) to better meet the needs of our children and staff.

Every week, your child will learn the basics in music from exploring instruments to dancing to the beat of their favorite songs. We encourage them to embrace music by clapping their hands, bouncing scarves, swaying their bodies, and having free play at a wide range of musical instruments.

Curriculum
Language Arts
An important part of Discovery Daycare is the curriculum we pride ourselves on, Streamin3. Brought to our center by the Virginia Department of Education, it is an interaction-based, comprehensive birth-to-five curriculum model focused on five CORE Skills and six STREAM skills.
