Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs to meet your child's needs, including full-time and part-time care, preschool, and before-and-after-school programs.
Licensed to teach 3 & 4 year olds
If you choose to keep your child in daycare, we do have the proper needs to ensure your child is beyond ready for Kindergarten. With a more one-on-one approach, our experienced teachers provide individual attention and support to each child, helping them to reach their full potential.
Before-And-After School
When you're needing hours outside normal school, we can offer you the safest and most cost effective way to provide your child with homework help, breakfast and/or afternoon snack, and a loving atmosphere. If your child's school is closed and we are open, they are more than welcome to join our preschool program for the day(s) where they will learn through play.
Learning through Play

Through play, we are boosting brain development, learning communication skills and vocabulary, embracing personal creativity, practicing problem solving, and controlling our own emotions. We also focus on the award-winning Streamin3 curriculum, music and rhythm, arts and crafts, physical education, and sensory exploration.
Streamin3
An important part of Discovery Daycare is the curriculum we pride ourselves on, Streamin3. Brought to our center by the Virginia Department of Education, it is an interaction-based, comprehensive birth-to-five curriculum model focused on five CORE Skills and six STREAM skills.

Graduation
When your child completes our preschool program, they will receive a diploma, cap and gown pictures, and an education to better prepare them for kindergarten rather than not being a part of any program.
