At Discovery Daycare, our children have an entire inside classroom dedicated to moving their bodies and challenging their minds. Steppingstones, balance beams, beanbags, and a soft tunnel climber are just some of the things we play with daily.
Classroom transitions are changes from one activity, lesson, or event to another activity, lesson, or event. This is usually the hardest time for children, so when you make transitions pretend to walk like a duck or hop like a bunny.
With two playgrounds—one on the left and one on the right of our center—we can ensure that children of all ages can play separately, without interacting across age groups. Winning a grant competition in 2024, Discovery Daycare has completely revamped their playgrounds to better meet the needs of our children and staff.
Ms. Logan has been with the Discovery Daycare family since late 2021 and has experience in every age group. She continues to be a valuable team player enriching her students in physical development.
